I am so excited to be your librarian! I have been a teacher for twenty three years! I have taught at Decherd Elementary for my entire teaching career.  I have taught first grade for nineteen  years and I taught second grade for three years!  I am very passionate about reading.  I love to watch children begin to learn to read. 

This is my third year as a librarian at DES!!! It is literally my dream job and I am so exited!!!

When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family doing outdoor activities.  I have a 16 year old son and an 12 year old daughter.
