I am so excited to be at DES! I have been in education for over 16 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Middle TN State University in 2009 after graduating from Franklin County High School in 2004. I have a passion for teaching literacy so all my students will value the power of reading for a lifetime. I am a strong advocate for STEM education and currently work with NASA EDPC and TSIN (TN STEM Innovation Network) to incorporate those lessons within my classroom. I am also working on my Computer Science endorsement to help rollout TN's new required Computer Science Education program. Let's go CODE!
