Hi, I’m Mrs. Smith! 

This is my 7th year at DES. I spent my first four years in 2nd grade and I am now entering my third year as a 3rd grade teacher. My goals for the year are for my students to foster a love for learning and build a classroom where they feel valued, loved, and inspired.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-5 from TN Tech University in Cookeville. Go Golden Eagles!

When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my family on our farm, Triple Creek! We have horses, raise cattle, and row crop.
