I am excited to be teaching First Grade. I have been in Education for 17 years. This is my 6th year teaching at Decherd Elementary, and my second year as a first grade teacher. I definitely love the enthusiasm of the young students. My background is in Reading/Language Arts, Curriculum Instruction, and Educational PD. My passion is helping students become excited about learning. I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, photography, reading a good book, and spending time with my family.
