I started my teaching carreer at St. Paul in Tullahoma, where I taught 4th grade for two years. I was then hired at Franklin County where I spent many years at South Middle School teaching reading and language arts resource.  I am presently the librarian at Decherd Elementary.

I am from Tullahoma and still reside there with my husband of 25 years.  We have two grown children who live out of state with their spouses, and several fur babies.  When we are not at work we love spending time outdoors camping, backpacking, kayaking, running, or biking. We also love to travel, and with an empty nest are often out seeing the country.
